The Start....

Posh Dot started as a casual blogging website in 2014. only after a year it became a brand name with it’s own logo: mustache or hipster glasses in the circle. which is easily recognizable and becoming our mascot for the items we have.

The Story....

Once upon a time...
...the idea for blog was born. Writing the thoughts on the screen for the world to see. The blog had to have the name. After looking through, the fancy named websites Posh Dot was named. Dotty little thing was sleeping for a while, until the very special day, when it got the second owner. Bloomed the blog that Day. Homed the life of Posh Dot studio in one place, for the world to see. Soon enough it had to get some help, this is where eBay came to stay. Helped to hold the gems of Posh Dot name for you to get.  Millions of minutes later, here we are...
...on the Posh Dot website pages.

Our Time In Portsmouth....

We spent 3 years in Southsea (Portsmouth). This is where Posh Dot started - in a tiny flat - you could not swing a cat in. Both of us working full-time elsewhere. Posh Dot had its ups and downs but that's what you get when you're trying to make something which holds the key to a successful future. We started from nothing, putting money aside from our wages to invest into Posh Dot, we have slowly expanded our product range. Brainstorming ideas along the Seafront while throwing back washed up starfish after stormy night. The long days and nights of advertising Posh Dot in our free time - Social Media is a full-time job in itself. Taking photographs of products, uploading and finding the inspiration to come up with a charming description is always a mind-boggle. Want to get out of the city at 5.30pm? Haha… There's more chance of a pig flying.....Hmmm interesting thought! ... I mean, FACT! ...We have left the hussle and bussle behind....Our new adventure begins in Cornwall!

 A Cornish Life.... Has Begun....

Driving down from Portsmouth felt like we were going on holiday once again but this time with all our belongings in the boot and the box-van on-route to Cornwall.

When you see the KERNOW a’gas dynergh (Welcome to Cornwall) the sigh of relief escapes your mouth, your legs stop hurting as you had to sit with all the plants surrounding your feet. The reminder from your partner (Justina) that you better not damage any. Then when we go over a speed hump the Cactus falls into your ankle. What a spiky creature that thing is! (You can use your mind to think what I really said).

Finally, we approached our new home called ‘The Trap House’ (this is where they use to keep the horses and carts back in the day, when the cars were just a lost thought awaiting for that one inventor). We have settled in nicely. All the Cornish people are very friendly and will help you whenever you need. Worth keeping in mind that they only appear after the summer holidays, as they tend to hibernate for 6 weeks… The people of Cornwall love to support their community and shop local, buy in-season fruit and vegetables, the pasties are to die for (incomparable with the muck up in the south).

Posh Dot will flourish here and we will keep you updated.
